For museums, universities and connoisseurs ARS MECHANICA manufactures copies and reconstructions of historical clocks and scientific instruments in the authentic materials (metal, wood or paper).

While I build copies according to the original, reconstructions are based on photographs, contemporary drawings or other archival sources. After close study of these documents and the consideration of all imponderabilities left open in the extant sources, a plan for a recreation of the object is designed.
